July hit the books as yet another month of year -over-year sales growth for American automaker, Chrysler. This is thanks in large to the brands push for innovation and a progressive thought process which have helped position it as a top contender in today's market.

Below are some of the many achievements attained by Chrysler Group over the past month:

  • 40 months in a row of year-over-year sales growth with the brands highest July sales numbers since 2006
  • Jeep, Dodge and RAM truck brands all attained year-over-year sales increases for July
  • Six vehicles within the Chrysler Group family set sales records in July
  • Ram truck sales improved by 31 percent, earning the largest percent sales gain of any Chrysler Group brand in July in addition to the best July sales since 2007
  • All current Jeep brand vehicles in production saw double-digit sales percentage increases

All told, last month Chrysler Group saw sales increase by 11 percent over July 2012 numbers. This accounted for 140,102 vehicles moved nationwide. Industry awards were also at no shortage for the month as the Dodge Charger was best in its segment in the J.D. Power's 2013 U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, while RAM Trucks ranked as the highest non-premium brand in the auto industry.
