So what does the package include? At a glance, it adds more aggressive blacked-out styling to the grille, front bumper, body trim pieces, and interior. On certain trims, it adds premium alloy wheels as big as 22 inches in diameter. Further upgrades like auto-dimming heated side mirrors, black exterior badges, and convex wide-angle side-mirror inserts are included in the Night Edition package.

The Ram 1500 Night Edition engine and Ram 1500 Night Edition 0-60 time do not vary from a standard Ram 1500. You can find the 3.6-liter V-6 or 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6 in the Big Horn Night Edition, and a High-Output 3.0-liter Hurricane I-6 or 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 in the Limited Night Edition; the Laramie Night Edition is only offered with the Hurricane engine, which provides a towing capacity as high as 11,610 pounds.2 However, a couple of performance-based changes can be found.

The first engine offers a towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds2 while the second can tow up to 11,320 pounds.2
