Spartanburg CDJR Gives Back To The Community

Spartanburg CDJR Gives Back To The Community

At Spartanburg CDJR, we proudly serve drivers by providing quality new and used Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. Our full-service repair and body shop can handle your maintenance needs, and our financial services department is available to answer questions. However, we do more than simply offer great vehicles and outstanding customer service. We also serve the greater Spartanburg community through our charitable partnerships. Just like we strive to give each customer who walks through our doors the most enjoyable, seamless car-buying experience, we are dedicated to supporting our local patrons through valuable community programs and services.

Hope Center for Children in Spartanburg

Hope Center for Children in Spartanburg

We partner with Hope Center for Children in Spartanburg, whose mission is to build stable, healthy families and provide children a safe place from neglect and abuse. HCFC is the result of a 2013 merger between two residential care centers. Since that merger, Hope Center for Children in Spartanburg has continued to expand its services to offer six cohesive programs. Through effective services like their Positive Parenting Program, clinical support, and case worker support for at-risk families, the center works to address and alleviate instances of trauma in children and families. Faucette House and Anchor House provide residential housing for children ages birth through 10 who are in foster care or need emergency shelter, and a transitional living program helps older youths aged 16-22 who are homeless, nearly homeless, or who have recently aged out of the foster care system.

Project Hope for Autism Spartanburg

Spartanburg CDJR also proudly partners with Project Hope for Autism Spartanburg, an organization that provides a range of autism services through its four core programs of therapy, education, adult services, and community engagement. With eight campuses, the Project Hope Foundation uses Applied Behavior Analysis principles to serve clients aged 2 to young adult across the spectrum of autism.

The Spartanburg campus also provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, education classrooms, a large enclosed outdoor playground, and easy field trip access to numerous local venues. Through an individualized approach, the Project Hope Foundation benefits families and communities who are forever changed by an autism diagnosis. With the help of our dealership, Project Hope for Autism Spartanburg also recently sponsored a Jeep Wrangler Hole-In-One giveaway for the Spartanburg and Simpsonville Golf Tournament.

Greer Ministries Meals on Wheels

Greer Ministries Meals on Wheels

Finally, we partner with Greer Ministries Meals on Wheels, an organization whose mission is to ensure no one in the greater Greer community goes hungry, is without clothing, or is socially isolated. Founded in 1972 and expanded throughout the following decades, Greer Community Ministries can deliver over 87,000 meals annually and assist more than 150 families with food and clothing every month. With the help of numerous volunteers, they also supply new and gently used clothing of any size, age, or season to those in need via Sharon’s Closet, their clothing assistance program. Stocked with graciously donated nonperishables, the Greer Community Ministries food pantry meets the needs of families experiencing food shortages.

Through programs like Senior Dining and Meals on Wheels, GCM delivers hot, freshly prepared meals to neighbors with medical conditions, mental or physical disabilities, homebound seniors, and those recovering from illness or accident. The Meals on Wheels program works to ensure every needy member of the community has a warm, nutritious meal to eat.

This year, Spartanburg CDJR is proud to sponsor a team at the 26th Annual Greer Ministries Meals on Wheels Invitational, an October event that ensures more than 30,000 meals are provided to GCM’s Meal on Wheels clients in the Greater Greer community.
